Bo “The Model” Is Emerging as One Of The Biggest Super Models That We Have Seen
We live in a world where our society can be very sexist towards women because of their gender. Many times, they do not get the credit or respect they deserve when reaching certain milestones.
Nonetheless, our city, Baltimore, has a vast number of entrepreneurs, creatives, and moguls, that make it big but not really as models. Plus, there are limited opportunities for that career as well so it’s not very common that you come across a model here.
It’s a lot of young women out there that are into makeup and dressing up whose biggest dream is to become a big-time fashion model. Young Phenom, Bo “The Model” is fulfilling that dream right now, just as she once envisioned it.
Bo knew that she had to take the time out to study the modeling agency to learn from the greats so that she could be the next supermodel.
So, she spent her first year as a model researching, staying up till 4:00 in the morning almost every day so that she could learn everything that she needed. Bo landed her first editorial shoot in 2018 by salon infinity, the year after.
Bo has been recognized by her city and across the DMV for the amazing, creative photogenic shoots that she takes in every shot. “Every time I put on my art everyone responds, Bo stated.”
Watching all of her hard work unfold and achieving success early on, she was signed last year while being published seven times in just five years. Bo has been on multiple magazines such as Swing Black Magazines, Culture Icon Tv, and Council Magazine.
One time Beyonce’s stylist, Ty Hunter, had seen Bo for the first time and instantly complimented her. She has modeled for big names like Ontavia roulette, Influance Hair Care, and Couture Designer from La Centralia.
Bo has traveled outside of Baltimore a few times to model in, LA, Norfolk VA, DC, and even Ohio. As one of the youngest rising models to come out of Baltimore, the modeling agency has taught Bo to learn how to believe in herself more.
Bo wears a few other hats outside of modeling, she is the CEO of Bos Blinks, (@Bosblinks.lashco on Instagram) where she sells some of the best lashes that you can put on. Bo also is an actor and attended the Baltimore School of the Arts. She got accepted to the program that the school offers, called Twigs. TWIGS offers free comprehensive training in the arts for Baltimore City children in grades 2–8, with exact age ranges varying from program to program. All classes are taught by professional working artists. Through the program, Bo was able to build on her acting skills by being featured in musicals and plays. Bo stared in Sumalina, Snow White, and a few others.
Making an impact in her community and young women’s lives have always been one of Bo’s goals even still to this day, besides the other things that she does. She started doing public speaking at her AME church, where she was very active and held office in YPD. YDP is a youth group for ages 5–21. As Bo was holding office, she was in charge of coming up with creative service ideas, making sure that young people had the services they may need, and helping the youth in the church.
Bo is very passionate about helping people which is why many young women look up to her as a good role model. She was able to impact her church deeply and still does with her presence.
