Redesigning Minds & Phat Future Minds As Well As, Proud Sponsors Donate Over 900 Toys To Families In Baltimore
Redesigning Minds is back at it again, this holiday season giving and providing toys as well as essential needs to families across the city of Baltimore for Christmas. They wanted to help the youth with mental health, knowing that some parents do not have too much to help their kids. Redesigning Minds is a Psychiatric program based on mental health. Recently right before Thanksgiving, the organization had already organized and put together a huge turkey giveaway and donated 1200 turkeys to the children and families that were in need.
Marcus Wise, the Rehabilitation Counselor stated, “I remember having hard times so the time that I can be in a position to help, is when I will do anything that’s needed. He continued to say, “our city deals with a lot and I’m glad to be able to be a positive outlet to help the next person. This past Tuesday, they held a Holiday pick-up drive and donated over 900 toys and essential items. After all of the kids received their toys, one of the youths came up to them and said, “This is the best Christmas I ever had!”
