An up and coming Creative Director, Designer, Creator, and Brand developer, name Treasure is making major noise in the fashion entertainment industry. She has done creative directing for Pamela Ford, Dess Dior, and plenty of others. Treasure has the magnificent ability to curate creative ideas for artist music videos, brand rollouts, photoshoots, and whatever other crazy ideas that she may have.

About Novere

On October 14, 2020, Treasure launched her Brand Novere. The name comes from me looking up words in other languages and I like how one part of this word looked, so I broke it up and made it my own word. That’s always been me as a person, being innovative and making something better,” she stated. Her brand symbolizes, “freedom making your own rules and most importantly following your dreams,” she stated as well.

Clothes are her focus right now. “If you want all eyes to be on you when you step into the room then Novere is the clothing brand for you, If you want to be noticed for style, grace, and swag, then Novere is for you,” Treasure said. She went on to express that, “Novere is a brand as a whole, clothes are my start. I plan to do many things with the brand including fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, hotels, music festivals, and that’s literally just the start. So stay tuned!”

Her Background

Treasure was born in New York City but was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She started her first business at the age of 15. The name of her business a the time was called, “Glam Life”. Treasure was selling glasses at the time when she launched Glam Life. Treasure stated, My business turned into a wholesale glasses shop for other entrepreneurs starting out. Then I used that money to invest in my real dreams and passions, like starting my own clothing line.

She has been falling in love with her craft from a young age. She was the kind of kid growing up that got new clothes and would cut and bleach them to turn them into new clothes that nobody had.

“I subscribed to TeenVouge from a young age,” she said. “The highlight of my month was always getting the month’s issue and reading it from front to back a million times until the next one arrived at my doorstep.” Her commitment at a young age is what has prepared her for her success today.

Overcoming Barriers

She didn’t graduate from college. Treasure arguably dropped out of one of the biggest fashion institutes in the world (Fashion Institute of Technology). Everyone thought she was insane but she had a bigger purpose to pursue her dreams, she has a special talent that you cannot teach.

Treasure faced plenty of obstacles working in an industry that isn’t very known for showcasing creatives. She said,There’s no set formula. I work through each obstacle with my team and try to look at everything as divine right and timing. If it happened it was meant and is very much a part of the plan. So I take it on the chin and come up with another plan. I try not to dwell on negative moments for too long.

When asked about one of the biggest challenges that she’s faced Treasure stated, “Establishing our brand identity. Curating a brand where the world relates and understands our values and the story behind our clothing,”

Message to the next generation.

“As for aspiring fashion designers, Create. Create. Create. Even through the madness create. Always be prepared to showcase your work, so building a portfolio of even potential ideas is always a good start. Also research, becoming knowledgeable on fashion, the history, the OG’s in the game, literally everything, As far as entrepreneurship, it’s not for everybody its plenty of hard work so be prepared to ride the wave of running a business. Creating a business out of your passion makes the ride a little smoother and encourages you not to give up. Always be prepared, opportunities have no specific timing.”
