Baltimore’s rappers have been putting the world on notice with our incredible music scene that blows every year. Artists like Lor Scoota, Young Moose, President Davo, and YBS Skola have paved the way for rap artists to rap and did their part to help put the city on the map. Every year in our town and especially in the summertime, an up & coming Rapper catches their big break by dropping a hit song to the streets. Aka “Mr. Endless Drive 1500,” West Baltimore rapper Money Jake got his shine when he released a Bodak Yellow, and a Who Run It remix, and the hometown loved it. Now all eyes were on him, and he wanted to take rap seriously after all the great reviews he was receiving. Jake then followed up with his tape Professional Shit Talker in 2019.

At this point, he was fully locked in, and the following year he collaborated with rising popular Baltimore rapper Tonynexttoblow on this well-anticipated project “Us Vs. Us.” In this collaboration, you can hear both artists’ talented flows and catchy bars on each song, with other great features on the tape. Money Jake and Tonynexttoblow took full advantage of their collaboration that the DMV loved and grew their fan bases even larger.

After that, he dropped another tape the same year Fooly reloaded. Money Jake has proven that his music is essential to the industry because he has a unique sound that you cannot hear anywhere else. Lately, Jake has been applying significant pressure to the rap game and has been the voice for the city we need. With that, he released his smash project “My Moment” last year in April with every Baltimore Rapper that the city love and listens to.

We have never seen anything like that before, with every Baltimore rapper all one project that we mostly listen to, doing features with each other back-to-back on one song and one tape. “My goal was to show the city that it isn’t no smoke, everybody thinks it’s Jake don’t like this person, or they don’t like this, etc.

I wanted to show em that the city does have structure, and I am the structure of my city; Money Jake said in a Hooligan Express Radio Interview about why he put the top rappers in the city on his project. Money Jake and Baltimore artist Tmc The Don scored big on their hit song Models. The song has been going viral worldwide, reaching a million views in less than a year. Representing for Baltimore and reaching extortionary heights in his career, Money Jake recently just got off his first tour with Money Bagg Yo.

The best has yet to come from Money Jake who pushed himself to become one of the mainstreams artists that people listen to today. Check out his music on all platforms @Money Jake and follow him on Instagram to keep up with him @Money_Jake
